Hi Becki, Your devotional book "Appointed" for moms was the best I have ever seen. It was appreciated so much by my daughter-in-laws and my niece. I searched for something similar but couldn't find anything else that fit so well the needs of my loved ones. Keep writing! God bless you and your family.
This is so hard. I wish I had answers, too. I know when I am most frustrated with unanswered prayers it helps to just keep stepping closer to HIm. I may never understand why he doesn't step in to answer prayers for healing, but there is help and peace in being nearer to Him.
So helpful. Heart-checking motives is something i need to do on a regular basis. The contrast between “the way i imagine things ought to be” and God’s way, is where i need eyes of faith to move forward. 🤍
This post is hitting me hard today... I read your journey back in 2022 when you first posted it and it was refreshing because we had gone through something similar at the same time with a move from Ontario to BC. I was prompted by God to revisit your story today because once again we are being challenged by God for something huge and this particular post #2 was the one he was calling me to. That verse from James hit me like a wrecking ball and just brought everything into presepective for me. I need to remember that my husband and I are a team and that no matter what I am praying for we both have to be praying for the same thing and be on the same page. Thank you for this!!

Been hugely struggling with why Jesus spent so much time healing the sick yet never seems to heal those I pray for.
